XFX Launches Phoenix Nirvana Series Radeon RX Graphics Cards in White

Never. nVidia has always behaved like a petulant child, so since XFX has self-respect they're never going back. https://www.fudzilla.com/news/graphics/20453-xfx-officially-stops-doing-nvidia

XFX Rolls Out Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phoenix Nirvana Graphics Card

I wonder why they switched to FDB instead of the DBB in the Merc 310.

Cooler Master Announces New High-Performance PC Case - the MasterBox 600

Breakout expanion slot covers and a 3-pin fan in 2024. Not the end of the world, but surprising.

    KLEVV Bolt V DDR5-6800 32 GB CL34

Big fan of this RAM, got up to 10800MHz ambient on this kit (APU of course). Very briefly the highest AMD RAM score on HWBOT. https://hwbot.org/submission/5489510_machinelearning_memory_frequency_ddr5_sdram_5397.3_mhz The lower speed kits are 8L but of course the 6800MHz+ are 10L. I had a kit of...

DFI Revolutionizes Industrial Computing with World's First MicroATX Motherboards

If DFI comes back to the consumer market in the next 5 years, they'll probably sell well. After that, not enough people would remember or care. It's been 14 years already... :( Sadly, I think it's unlikely. Although last I checked they still have Oskar Wu with them.

Sparkle Intros PCIe Gen 4 Quad M.2 Riser Card

Sparkle is now a part of TUL Corporation (like PowerColor, and I think VisionTek as well). They've been making Intel Arc GPUs for a while now.

DeepCool AK620: the best value for money aircooler today?

It's the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120. Frost Commander 140 is also extremely good value. Deepcool and Scythe come relatively close, but they do not match Thermalright's value.

ASRock B650 PG Lightning - BIOS update

Yes, 1.28 should be stable with a 7600. But there's no harm in doing 2.02 either, or (most likely) the latest beta. I would personally choose 2.02 since the patch notes claim faster EXPO boot time and better USB compatibility.

    Scythe Fuma 3

Thank you for the review. It looks completely fine either way IMO. I think I slightly prefer the current colors, but it's a slim margin. Also, I know this has been asked many times in the past so sorry if you're sick of hearing it. But any chance for a Thermalright cooler review? Preferably...

Top AMD RDNA4 Part Could Offer RX 7900 XTX Performance at Half its Price and Lower Power

I desperately hope they don't abandon the high-end. At least one other company needs to compete with nVidia there, don't care if it's Intel or AMD. Just, some kind of pressure...

Tipster Claims AMD "Kraken Point" APU Configured with Zen 5 & Zen 5c Cores

One thing I want to know with these Zen 4+4C / 5+5C chips is if you need Windows 11 for max performance. Or if Win10 / Linux can schedule for both core types just as well.

MSI MPOWER Motherboard Series Resurrected After Long Absence

VRM also does not appear to be strong. I think it could power a 14900KS within acceptable limits, especially with a fan on the VRM, but I expect more from a board marketed for overclocking. Also, writing "Clock," "Frequency," "Timings," and "Overclocking" doesn't instantly make it good. I...

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Gaming OC

The most egregious part of this card is its use of a sleeve bearing fan. Especially for such a high increase over MSRP. https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N407TSGAMING-OC-16GD#kf
