ASRock Intros Radeon RX 6500 XT 8GB Phantom Gaming

Did you guys watch the Hardware Unboxed video posted above? The 6500 XT with 8 GB VRAM is a fine card. The only thing not fine about it is its price.

Curious "Navi 48 XTX" Graphics Card Prototype Detected in Regulatory Filings

Depends on how you look at it. Certain models became faster than their predecessors because they have more execution units and VRAM, but the architecture itself didn't. CU vs CU, RDNA 3 has the same speed in most cases as RDNA 2. Edit: The 7600 is a slightly more advanced 6650 XT, and the 7800...

Will this SSD run on Asus B650E-E

No problem. Good luck choosing a good drive! :)

Will this SSD run on Asus B650E-E

MLC drives are becoming increasingly rare, unfortunately. The good thing is that TLC has come to a point when it has relatively good endurance ratings, especially at large capacities. I would still avoid QLC, though.

Curious "Navi 48 XTX" Graphics Card Prototype Detected in Regulatory Filings

All I'm saying is, being faster overall is not the same as having better RT performance. Yes, RDNA 3 cards are faster overall because they have more execution units, but they don't have better RT performance. If you add more cylinders to a car's engine, the car will be faster overall. You're...

Will this SSD run on Asus B650E-E

I've had some Crucial drives which are fine for general use, but tend to overheat during heavy writes. Samsung is a good all-around option. I'm tempted to get a WD Black with a gigantic heatsink one day. :) What I look for in an nvme drive is: 1. Does it overheat without a heatsink? 2. If so...

Will this SSD run on Asus B650E-E

I've used several gen 3 nvme drives, now I'm on gen 4, and the difference is non-existent. Even with SATA, I have to transfer some very large files (which I don't do often) to notice the difference. The adapter you linked looks cool. I love that it's basically a normal SATA SSD case with an m.2...

You mean an m.2 to normal SATA converter? That might do the trick. :)

Will this SSD run on Asus B650E-E

Based on the tech specs on the Asus website, your board only supports PCI-e nvme SSDs. The one in your photo is SATA. So I'm afraid, it won't work.

It's not just one game, I only picked an example. RDNA 3 loses the same amount of performance when you enable RT as RDNA 2, which is no surprise considering that their RT units are almost identical. The only performance gain you have over last gen is due to having more of said units (and...

AMD Says Ryzen 9000 Series Won't Beat 7000X3D Series at Gaming

Actually, the 7800X3D runs cooler than the 7700X. I know because I have both. ;)

US Government Sanctions Deepcool Over Supplying to Blacklisted Russian Firms

The problem is that it's not absurd anymore (well, it is for us, thinking individuals, but not for the masses), as the opening article demonstrates. We're at a stage when governments sanction trades with gaming gear, such as liquid cooling, and regular citizens jump at each other's throats over...

US Government Sanctions Deepcool Over Supplying to Blacklisted Russian Firms

Where did you get that from? And how do you impose 100% control over who the product you sell ends up with? You can't. Any Russian? Did you know that there is 144 million of them? If you seriously want to hurt all of them for no other reason than being fed some propaganda yourself, then you...

ASRock Intros Radeon RX 6500 XT 8GB Phantom Gaming

Then Sapphire said "hold my beer". As I recall, they promised that the update for 5000 series support would come, but waited with it an awful long time. No company is your friend. Welcome to capitalism.
