Cooler Master is preparing yet another variation of the Cosmos full-ATX chassis, the CM Cosmos Pure. This design develops further on the aesthetics of the CM Cosmos Black Label limited edition, and makes use of matte black metal surfaces. The panels and front-door are made of slate/carbon-black coloured brushed metal, and a similar scheme continues inside. Regions of the case are located right where you'd expect them to be.
Measuring 266 x 598 x 628 mm, and weighing 16.9 kg, the CM Cosmos Pure packs enough room for E-ATX motherboards (and every ATX form-factor smaller than that), enough room is provided for even the longest of the graphics cards. Air-flow in the expansion card area is directed by a wind-flow tunnel. Fan provisions include a bottom 120 mm intake (instead of a front-intake), two 120 mm top exhausts, one rear 120 mm exhaust, and provision for an optional 120 mm fan to the HDD cage. Speaking of which, the 3.5" HDD cage can hold six drives. There are five exposed 5.25" bays, including a 3.5" to 5.25" converter bezel. Located on the top, the utility panel provides four USB ports, and one each of FireWire, eSATA, and audio I/O. Tentatively priced at 249 Euro, the CM Cosmos Pure is almost your Cosmos Black Label "unlimited edition".

darnit.. I just ordered the cosmos 1000 for my i7 build.. but this one is soo much prettier in black :(..
Either way, the Cosmos line is a highly successful line up. Id trade my CM Haf 932 for this :)
I want one water cooling ready, with the radiator, reservoir and pumps already mounted. Then I would only have to find waterblocks and piping to accomodate my loops.
Is it me or did they put a design flaw back into the design.
I read a lot of reviews that stated due to how the HDD's go into the case, the first one blocks air flow the rest. So if you actually have 4+ HDD, it kinda created a little heat spot where air was not circulating well.
The Cosmos S address this issue by putting the HDD in the "normal" rack style which let the air pass between drives.
I know history repeats itself, but aren't you suppose to learn from mistakes so you can avoid them the second time around?

by: TheLaughingManI've also read that the older cosmos 1000 suffers from underpressure inside the case.. it comes with one intake fan and 3 exhaust fans + if you have a graphicscards that push the air out their backside. so inlet air is not sufficient.. the hdd fan is optional (and necessary IMO). Doesn't look like the intake fan count has increased on this one neither.. the cosmos S has more mesh to solve this kind of problem.

by: punaniWell you can get rid of the under pressure issue. Install an extra fan in the top HDD area, remove all the HDD cages. Install the HDD in the lower section and the issue goes away, but you go from 6 HDD slots to only 3. That is a flaw
