When you're ready to step up your game, the Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 gives you just what you need to personalise your setup, communicate more effectively, and execute complex commands easily. Backlighting with customizable colours lets you locate the right keys — even in the dark. Plus, you can configure up to 36 single key-presses or intricate macros per game on the programmable G-keys, and use the MR key to record new macros on the fly.
Integrated USB audio makes it easy to strategise with team-mates or trash-talk enemies; while the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 hub port lets you connect your favourite gaming mouse or other peripherals directly to the keyboard. And, to avoid accidentally exiting your game, you can disable the Windows/Context Menu keys with the game/desktop mode switch. The Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 is expected to be available in EMEA in January, for a suggested retail price of £79.99. For more information, visit the product page.

looks nice.
built in soundcard might be interesting, as well as the USB hub

Overall it looks very nice but as usual its way overpriced....standard Logitech keyboard pricing though I guess; and the fact if you put "Gaming" in the title anyone with 3 braincells will buy it anyway even if its a piss-poor product.
by: aCid888*i've never broken a soundcard before.

I wonder if you can hit more than 3 buttons without locking it up.
Funny "gaming" keyboards...
by: calebhey i never said i'd BUY one :P

i'll just wait 6 months and see how many threads appear with a combination of "help" "shit" "crap" and "G110" appear in the thread titles in that time.
by: MusselsI bet you've never had one built in a keyboard before either. ;)

Useless if you ask me.
I cant understand how the engeniering process works to desing this keyboard at Logithec.
Wouldnt be much better to put the jack entrances at the bottom of the keyboard, I mean towards the player?
With that design you will be dealling with wires getting over your keyboard and such.

by: ArkanHelli think the side would make more sense, personally.

i can see issues with the bottom of the keyboard, mostly with the palm rest, or headphones with large jacks (my keyboard is flush when the end of my desk, so that would have the jack hanging in a location where one knock would easily snap off the 3.5mm jack)
i know somebody who may be interested in this... the point is the he cant even afford a g11 keyboard so this will be likely impossible
Looks simple and nice.
looks upsidedown :O
Too bad, the G19 have features useless to the hardcore gaming.
This one I like the fact that you can change the colors of the keys and you can connect headphones and mic
The best is still the G15 a simple high quality LCD screen that shows temperatures of the GPU clock CPU RAM load etc...

Screw the "integrated USB sound" and just give me a few replicated ports from the existing soundcard on my motherboard -- just give me another cord to plugin first to the motherboard, like how a KVM works.
And no LCD? :P

Stick to my N52te along with the G15 keyboard I think. I think they are getting to advanced at this stage. Too many to go wrong but the concept is good

Why the soundcard?
it makes no sense, I mean headsets, headphones and mics are made with a long cord for the normal place a soundcard goes, so if you hook one up to the keyboard, we will have a mile long cable on your desk :S

by: ZoneDymoGet a twistie-tie whatchamacalit and bunch the cable up. Problem solved. :D

I'll still choose my DELL basic keyboard over that, anyday.
Logitech need to upgrade the G15 so it has USB 2.0 ports and add a few more nice features and people will buy. I can't see much of a market for the G110, however.
I agree with the people about the G15 being the best i have it with a G5 mouse and i feel they are all i need to Game. Headphones are a diff story, logitech blows in the heaphone department...id go with beyerdynamic, sennheiser or audio technica's.
Teh sweetest :D
Except for integrated sound card.I'd vote for replicator ports.

by: AssimilatorI hate the fact that the G15 doesn't have USB 2.0 ports. That was a huge oversight, one that makes no sense.

Guess this means I can sell me G15 Rev2 to get the G19 since the prices wi.....should come down now that they are producing a new keyboard 2 months after the last one. Come December I would not be surprised to see another; I just hope that its a little better than the way this one appears to be designed.
