NZXT expanded its Classic Series of PC cases with the Gamma. This all-black ATX mid-tower intends to provide the essentials of casing the PC of today, while attempting to be creative with its bezel design to the extant possible. It measures 190 X 449 X 508 mm (W x H x D), and weighs 6 kg. The case material is steel, including a dash of meshed steel in the front-panel. The front-panel includes four 5.25" drive bays, audio, USB, and eSATA connectors, and perforated steel to cover the front intake fan.

The interiors are all-black, with seven internal 3.5" drive bays. Apart from openings that help in cable management, the motherboard tray has an opening that makes working with CPU coolers with back-plates easier. The ventilation system provides a lot of room for expansion: a 120 mm intake fan, two side 120 mm fans, a rear 120 mm, and another two 140 or 120 mm fans on top. Ports for water-tubing are included. It is available in Europe, for a price of 39.90 EUR.

good price for a tidy little case, wouldnt be my choice as it too small, but for the price it ticks alot of my boxes.

For 60 bucks this case has great construction and a nice black interior, but in my opinion that front bezel has got to go.

That front looks... awkward at first sight... but... I don't know. I should see it live.

Some plexiglas, a plotter, and some LEDs later it'd look really cool.

That is one terrible looking case. That angular look is ridiculous.

Thats what i was thinking. They took the Beta and pushed the PSU to the bottom and put some angle shit in the front.

Antec, this is NOT how it should be done.

Seems like the same case as the Beta with a new faceplate. If so it will hold a GTX260 with side mounted Power plugs no problem.

can you imagine carrying this thing? f*#k me, those pointy bits at the front would stab into your arms.

if the front was FLAT, i'd like it. the front ruins it.

looks like a generic mid tower with the PSU at the bottom, in all honesty (but appropriate for the price point, i guess)

Really not keen on many of the new cases released. Donkey balls.

You know, I really haven't understood CoolerMasters popularity, until yesterday that is.
I went through 23 NewEgg pages of Mid-Towers, and realised, there's just no innovation what-so-ever; all look generic.
If you want good air-flow, you gotta get an ugly generic thing (like this one) or full tower. I honestly couldn't find a single (mid) chassis that looked better to me than the NZXT Apollo, but that means sacrificing air. Either that or get a half-a-tonne full tower monster that no-one would like to have to carry to a LAN party. Out of all the thousands of chassis manufacturing employees, there's really limited imagination IMO.:shadedshu

I mean, maybe I'm wrong, can anyone tell me of any mid tower that isn't generic and is still attractive? (give links if so):wtf:

Very good price and very good cooling.

Not a fan of the front panel either, but if it keeps your components its no fuss.

It does bother me they paint this case but don't paint their cases with huge side windows like the Apollo or Tempest.

Keeping on topic, this is an NZXT chassis. It's pretty much the same as the $39.99 beta but with other features.

I think the Scout from CM Storm is not generic, but attractive, and the sniper also. Heres the link: Scout

What he said.
Would be ok for a "behind the sofa" cruncher though.
