Buffalo's latest update to its LinkStation family comes in the form of a new and improved LinkStation Mini NAS. Improvements include a subjectively more aesthetic chassis, and a faster CPU. Measuring 40 (W) x 82 (H) x 135 (D) mm, the chassis has a piano-black or glossy white shell. The device holds comes in capacities of 500 GB, 1 TB, and 240 GB (using SSDs). Besides offering RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes, the LinkStation Mini can expand its storage using its USB 2.0 port that connects to external storage devices such as external HDDs, and flash drives. Basic support DLNA, Apple TimeMachine, make for the rest of it. The 500 GB variant is priced at around $290, with the 1 TB variant at $464, and $1163 for the 240 GB (SSD) model.
