NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce its new line of premium cables and performance fans for PC enthusiasts. The new lineup premium cables consists of VGA, PSU, and HDD cables that are individually sleeved in a black enclosure to provide a sleeker look that seamlessly integrates into the case’s interior. The additional benefit from incorporating these premium sleeved cables into your rig is enhanced cable management which is crucial for optimal airflow. NZXT’s line of high performance fans includes a 120mm, 140mm, and 200mm version. Each fan has rifle bearings and 9 blade fins.

“For the avid PC enthusiast, effective cable management is a significant, yet time consuming stage of the build” said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. “Our new line of premium cables eliminates the need to sleeve cables on your own and provides a simple solution that will enhance aesthetics, improve cable management and increase airflow so internal temps remain low . Additionally, our new high performance fans provide our enthusiast community additional options when choosing effective airflow for their rig.”

NZXT’s premium cables and performance fans will be available in February from $2.99 to $14.99.

Oooh nifty! That sleeved PSU cable is pretty neat. Saves a lot of time and nerves.

Hmm... I hope the sleeving is on a MDPC level =D That would be awesome.

while the sleeved cable is cool, its going to be a real arse to hide away the really long stock cable...

+1 I'd like to see PSU manufacturers sell sleeved cables like this as accessories to their modular supplies - so you can just plug them in at the sauce. But then again they could just make them like this to begin with.

Sleeving an entire PSU on MDPC level takes much time, practise, and its gonna cost a whole bunch of money just for the sleeving, let alone for the time. And it has to be done by hand, or it takes a skillful (read expensive) machine to do so. So your 200 dollar PSU will then cost 300 dollars.

Shouldn't be a problem for modern casings with wide back spaces behind..

if your planing on putting a 120 or 140mm on top you cant on the slot closest to the front your DvD drive will block it trust me if you look at it, the Dvd drive covers up the front holes holes:banghead: all they need to do is make the case like 1/2 inch longer if that, so i just put a fan on the back top slot Pic of top

I assume the price will be cheaper then Performance PC's, they charge like an extra $50 to sleeve a 24 pin, but they do offer different colors. I'm stoked about these NZXT cables...I wonder if the fans will perform good too?

Nice, I've been waiting for someone (ahem...Nexus) to make some black and white 140+MM size fans. :rockout:

Yeah but if the information in the post is correct, this looks to be the much more cost effective method by far.

Which leads me to wonder what the price is of the NZXT cables.

Looks like the cables are popping up on NewEgg already. They got everything from a 9.84" 24-pin main board cable down to sleeved 3-pin fan connectors. Judging by the pictures they look like high quality, but you can never truly tell until they're in your hands. Prices range from $3.99 for the 3-pin fan to $9.99 for the 24-pin main board connector. At those prices and depending on the quality, they look like an excellent buy and much better value than sleeving cables yourself. :rockout:

Besides "borrowing" my fan housing design (ur welcome:shadedshu) I would like to know what makes those fans any better. and Taking up a ton of extra space, how does that increase airflow? (Individual sleeving looks cool but adds quite a bit to the wires diam) Guess what Johnny Hou... this time ur epic Fail:rolleyes:

The cables look awesome. Hopefully a store that sends internationally gets them in.

so glad i saw this, wanted to sleeve my cables... but didn't really want to sleeve them, and this is perfect, kinda hack buying it premade but whatever it'll still look nice.. got a 24 pin and 6 pin and 8 pin, then grabbed a goliathas mat from razer and 2 xiggy 140's for the obsidian 800d... ooo i can't wait, i love newegg goodies.. btw the 24pin was 9.99 and the 6 ppin 5.99 i believe... not to bad tbh a sleeving kit would've cost me more money upfront and a crapload more time lol
