Scythe is showing off numerous new cases, one of which has a spiffy leather front. While the chassis at CeBIT features a black patch of the material, we could see other colors happen (like pink for the ladies?). The chassis not yet ready for market, while the other enclosures which feature a clean look & feel are ready to go shortly. All of these are aimed at the mainstream market with very affordable price points.

As seems to be tradition with Scythe these days, we are seeing another extreme prototype CPU cooler with four fans blowing down on it. The new Yasya CPU cooler features an elaborate cooler design and Scythe is even showing off an all copper prototype, while the retail version has the traditional aluminum & copper combination.

I just think with the Susano you wouldn't be able to see anything but 4 fans...It would totally block the whole board. Cooling performance of it is probably awesome, but I think asthetics are important too. But I agree that the copper one is freakin beautiful.

If you don't have a windowed case it wouldn't matter, if you have a tech station it'd look great from the side which is probably the angle you'd be looking at it most of the time anyway. Not sure what the height is but changing memory modules would be a PITA.

The cases look really good but they just look too small on the inside

I never thought about that. That would look pretty damn sick. :toast: But you are right changing ram would suck.

Copepr 'Yasya' sure is. Not that bad the nickel plated top? version either. Those first 2 cases look great.

Yasya CU is awesome. Susano looks great also, but I prefer "tower coolers".

No innovation this time I'm afraid , its like two Gemini coolers stuck together
by Duffman (10:37 PM) - Reply
we shall see if it ever even makes it into production
by pantherx12 (10:37 PM) - Reply
It would certainly need scythes "ninja wire" to help support the thing.

Ofc i'm being facetious: how the hell could i not be? Mark my words: one of these days we'll see a 25cm fan in a CPU cooler ... I have now discovered the true purpose of my case's side fan ...

I sincerely hope not, big fans are useless, no pressure!
