Intill they change their dead pixel policy, I would never buy from a company that tries to stick it to them customers. I know a few vendors that dropped this company because of it..

Sceptre was good several years ago, then all the sudden they went to cheap panels and components that fail a lot. I'm not sure how they stay in business.

A Twisted Nematic panel is similar to wearing dirty underwear. You take a chance that it will work out fine but there is a distinct possibility of a somewhat uncomfortable twisted experience. :slap:

I have an older 24" monitor made by them, I love it. Never had a single problem with it. Now on the other hand I would not buy a newer one. They have gone very cheap on everything they use nowadays. To bad, they target the lower priced market and have been dong well. You can make a good quality lower priced product and still use quality components.
