KINGMAX Releases DDR3-2400 MHz Modules with 'Invisible' Heat Spreaders

yeah it's same 2200 version but with hidden Heat Spreaders , ha funny i have one and it can run at 2400 with same cas but with 1.76V and the Heat Spreaders doing great work with me

I like visible heatsinks, there just plain ugly without, the only sticks that look great without sinks are GeIL Black Dragon

I think this technology would do well complimenting actual heatsinks to dress the gruesome skeleton that is the RAM.:nutkick:

NOTE: it also ships with nano fans to keep the nano tech even cooler.

But customers have been complaining about the missing nano fans, but it turns out that it's hard to find the nano fans since each fan is kept in it own nano pouch so it doesn't get broken.

AP Market research shows that customers who use nano tech are just compensating for extremely large ego's when it comes to their systems.

because of this, everyone should adopt this new technology, I AM SERIOUS! u should care about the environment too, not only with yours PC looks... btw we could use the RAMs with an airflow(dominator, turbulence, etc...) which would improve the bad look.

Exactly what I think too. I've never found hot RAM; none of it even has temperature sensing (even though I remember that being muted as a coming feature a while back). Also most heat sinks on RAM are just stuck on with "thermal" tape, which I'd bet is just normal double sided tape. Even server RAM for 1Us is bare, and that's a tough environment.

As for the marketing of these though ...quite funny! They're green - yeah the PCB literally is! If the price is good I'm happy for them to be here. Then again I'm the kind of guy who likes Antec EarthWatts' plain steel shells ...functionality FTW.

It doesn't. They stay pretty much ice cold. Certainly looks better with a heatspreader, though, which is why I'm surprised they didn't at least change the PCB color.

I made the environment a little more green last weekend, I painted a sidewalk with some green paint I found in my basement! I think it was lead-based, but the important thing is I helped make the environment a little more green!
