TechPowerUp today released version 0.4.6 of GPU-Z, the popular graphics subsystem diagnostic utility that provides you with detailed tech-specs of your installed graphics processors, and lets you monitor clock speeds, voltages, temperatures and fan speeds. The new version packs with it support for new GPUs that are being released in the weeks to come, detection for some future GPUs, and a range of stability enhancements. It features detection of upcoming GeForce GTS/GT 400 GPUs, elementary support for AMD Radeon HD 6000 series GPUs, improved BIOS reading, and stability fixes pertaining to certain sensor chips.

With this release, MSI and TechPowerUp are teaming up for a new Hardware Giveaway, that lets six lucky winners win some rad graphics hardware from MSI over two months (three each month). We are giving away two each of the MSI R5870 Lightning, MSI N460GTX HAWK, and MSI R5770 HAWK. To participate, simply fill out the "MSI Giveaway" tab in GPU-Z. Be sure to check more details about the giveaway linked inside that tab. Good Luck!

Hey Wizz, Is it safe to assume that you set these promotions up when you're in Taiwan for Computex?

Has there been a change to the rules? I believe there was a change - only one person/pc/ip per entry now, not multiple computers/entries etc. Or was that idea quashed?
by copenhagen69 (8:09 PM) - Reply
hopefully that is the rule ...

Maybe do a US only giveaway, then a Europe only giveaway, etc. etc. One for each continent. Then an Antarctica only one

Makes a nice change from most online giveaways where ONLY U.S. applicants are allowed. In fact, about 90% of giveaways are like that  Anyway, I did notice that no-one from France has won. Yet. ;)

Ludivic did, but he didn't reply to the e-mail so the prize was given to someone else. Wouldn't you just hate yourself if you did that? I feel sorry for him/her

Wow great prizes ... that GTX460 is just a brilliant card ... I've seen it do 950 on core with a small bump in voltage on another site ... ;)
