Thermal Solutions specialist GELID Solutions launches their first 140mm silent UV reactive waterproof blue case fan with multi-award winning unique Nanoflux bearing technology. The WING 14 UV Blue (140mm case fan) was added to the series of multi-award winning WING 8, 9 and 12 UV Blue. Matching the other WING fans this fan is created especially for gamers and modders and features a unique Nanoflux bearing whose motor bearing is not only water - and dustproof but also allows the impeller to be removed for cleaning. The 11 fan blades with additional winglet design were created to achieve an airflow of approx. 80CFM by a fan speed of 1200 RPM. The fan also enables a great static pressure and is UV reactive. Even the slightest vibrations generated by the running fan will be absorbed by 4 Anti-vibration fan mounts which are provided in addition to traditional screws. Further a fan speed reduction cable is included in the package to lower the fan speed to a super silent 900 RPM.

The patented Nanoflux bearing (NFB) incorporates a clever magnetic design, very high precision manufacturing and runs friction-free and operates noiseless. Electromagnetic fields are exploited to keep solid parts from touching. The load is carried by a magnetic field. The Nanotechnology composite ensures lowest abrasion and extreme durability (MTTF 100’000 hours). Compared to other Magnetic bearings this technology allows the impeller to be detached and thus the fan blades can be cleaned easily. The nano composite material is self lubricating and even waterproof. Compared to sleeve and ball bearing the high precision self-lubricated material of GELID’s Nanoflux bearing eliminates oil leakage.

Price (MSRP): US $20; €15.40

Kind of high but I love Gelid's fans.

Sorry, I read that as: "I'm kind of high right now, and partially because of it, I love Gelid's fans." These are some nice looking fans, though. Since I only use a single 120mm fan in my rig right now, I might have to look into them.

As much as I love their fans, have 3 of the 120s in my case, they're really breaking my balls with this price. After shipping this is going to be $28 or more on newegg. And I think the packs come in 4 not 5.

4 is fine too. You think you have it bad come buy fans here one of those 120s converted back into US currency they're 23$ or so and that's without delivery D: ( that's if you get them at their cheapest web price as well 26.25$ if not)

That's the exact price of a 120 at newegg. I guess the 140 might actually be closer to $30 after shipping. I got my first one on ebay and the other two at the heatsink factory when they had a sale, $15 each.

The Shell design is identical to the AeroCool Streamliner 140mm case fan. I can't find a photo of the back of the fan though.

Interesting, first time I've heard of UK prices not getting bastard tax* ontop of government tax  *What I call retailers upping the price.

Yeah I love them too and bought two green Wing 12's for a pretty penny. Only now I no longer have a UV green board so I want blue ones :ohwell: Hmm the front of the CM 690 II takes a 140 though it would be hidden behind front panel.
