Sharkoon Intros New USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Targets Price-Performance Sweetspot

Sharkoon is ready with a new fast flash drive that can read and write data at 130 MB/s. The Flexi-Drive Extreme Duo from Sharkoon makes use of the USB 3.0 interface and SLC NAND flash with its optimized memory management to achieve those speeds. The first model in the series offers 16 GB of storage, in a form-factor that's very compact by USB 3.0 flash drive standards. It measures 68 x 21 x 9 (L x W x H) mm, weighing a little over 12 g. The 16 GB Sharkoon Flexi-Drive Extreme Duo is priced at €50, and is available now.

Good, at least it's affordable. 32GB would be nice too.

Wow... SLC, 130MB/s write, small form factor, price not too insane. Can't beat it with a stick, except I don't see any availability in the US :(

Awesome. Finally, a flash drive press release about a product we actually care about, not more usb 2.0 garbage.
