Asus launching anything with "USB" in the name scares me.

179$? ouch!
Why are all those USB3 laptop docks so incredibly expensive?
I dont spend 600$ on a laptop and then 1/3 of that on a dock :)

These things are basically a USB3 hub with a built in DisplayLink USB VGA, a USB soundcard and a USB NIC... id rather build my own, ghetto but its hidden behind the display anyways so who cares? :)

25$ USB3 hub
50$ USB VGA adapter
15$ USB NIC
5$ USB soundcard

Thats around half the price :D
