NVIDIA Releases GeForce 306.97 WHQL Drivers

In wake of GeForce GTX 650 Ti launch, NVIDIA posted the latest WHQL-signed version of its GeForce software suite, version 306.97 WHQL. Recommended for Windows 8, the driver adds support for the newly-launched GPU, and is said to go well with Borderlands 2, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. New performance and stability improvements are said to cover a variety of games. 3D Vision profiles were added or improved for a large number of games.

I don't see anything worth updating for. Anyone with a 5xx series card try these yet?

Apparently the driver was intended for GTX 650 Ti only. I'm using GTX 680 but the latest driver (WHQL or beta) for my card was 306.23, dated September 13th. It's the same latest driver released for 500, 400, 300 (OEM?) and 200 series. Perhaps after Assassin's Creed III release we'll see a new driver for all supported series.

For some reason, it still doesn't include the latest PhysX driver from July.

This is really strange. GeForce site has 306.97 as the latest driver for my GTX 680, yet NVIDIA one shows 306.23 as the latest driver available for it.

I guess I'll give it a try then.

Here For Good!
Yes, Wizz is right, nothing new except 650Ti support:
Performance Boost – Increases performance for GeForce 400/500/600 Series GPUs in several PC games vs. GeForce 301.42 WHQL-certified drivers. Results will vary depending on your GPU and system configuration: see, only an increase from 301.42....
