NVIDIA Posts GeForce 314.07 WHQL Drivers

NVIDIA posted its newest WHQL-signed GeForce software suite. Version 314.07 is the company's first WHQL-signed version after R310 (310.90). The new drivers boost single-GPU performance by up to 5 percent, and SLI performance by up to 65 percent, compared to 310.90 WHQL. In terms of features, 314.07 adds GeForce Experience profile for Crysis 3, and performance boosts for Assassins Creed III, but in terms of performance-optimizations, 314.07 WHQL bundles everything recent R313-series beta releases have been coming up with. So 314.07 WHQL really is R313-series beta driver with a bit of Crysis 3 optimization, and the WHQL signature. Find details after the break.

FYI if you had unlocked your card you need to recheck your load voltages with these drivers. Since 313 nvidia has capped the voltages so even unlocked you won't boost as high. The only way I've found around that so far is with precision x's voltage slider, which will only slide up as far as you've unlocked. Meaning if you used kgb and unlocked to 1187 and were counting on it to boost up two notches to 1212, it won't, and you will only be able to slide up to 1187 in precision x. With this new driver behavior it's recommended to flash to 1212 and use precision x to set your voltage manually for 1187/1200/1212.

these drivers are still no good for my MSI gtx670 as they still cause stuttering in bf3.
back to 306.97 again!
I have wasted so much time and downloads( which being on capped download limit, I AM PAYING FOR!!!) on all drivers since 306.97

Did another clean install and after uninstall, rebooted after the standard vga adapter installed, before installing the nv drivers, and they seem to be working stutter free at the moment.

I put three hours in last night without an issue. Honestly I get better FPS in windows 8 than I did windows 7.

that's for sure, but it has been a known issue on nv forums.
I played a few hours with them too and, even though they are ok, i still find 306.97 drivers to be better performing for my card and system in BF3 which is the only game I play. Any fps increase is not noticeable by me or relevant to gameplay as fps aren't an issue.

Why didn't they mention NFS:MW in the PR? MASSIVE performance improvement on that one for my 460.
