GeForce GTX 780 Pictured Some More

It turns out that NVIDIA's upcoming high-end graphics card, the GeForce GTX 780, is indeed based on the GK110 chip, and to the extant of featuring the same reference-design PCB and cooling solution as the GeForce GTX TITAN. Chinese portal IT168 posted press-shots of the card. If you overlook the "GTX 780" embossing on the cooler, half the number of memory chips, and another very subtle difference, you will easily mistake the GTX 780 for a GTX TITAN.

Pictures reveal the card to feature an ASIC bearing the number "GK110-300-A1," which is rumored to feature 2,304 CUDA cores, 192 TMUs, 48 ROPs, and a 384-bit wide memory interface. Given that the card features just twelve 2 Gbit memory chips, the total memory amount should be 3 GB. The card is said to feature clock speeds of 863 MHz core, 902 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory, which belts out 288 GB/s memory bandwidth. It draws power from a combination of 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors. The 4-way SLI-capable card gives out display from a pair of dual-link DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort connectors.

So is GK110 geforce chip according to nvidia, only Telsa version has its max DP perf., same case was with GF110 geforce variant.
Afaik the dp is switchable via driver between full unrestricted and better for games restricted mode which drops it to 1/8 max , only on gk110s , consumer titans lack only ecc memory and pro grade drivers/support which costs all the money apparently.

I'm not one of those hunt the interwebz for you kinda Speculators , do your own hunting , semiacurate seams to have a cob on with nvidia for a start but I read so much tech news from so wide a range of site's id struggle to find some of it again as ive been watching for years as have many and if a few others haveing contacts are saying exactly what im deduceing then its the gk110 version of the g92 era.

But for clarity these be my opinion! Mostly:).
Well there is obviously nothing to hunt as you essentially pulled it right out of your arse.

I guess in some ways you are right though, with AMD having nothing new to bring to the table for the remainder of the year, the GK110 is all nV require anyway.

That views mistaken re Amd , and maxwell depends heavily on something that the nextbox and ps4 would have loved and will evolve into , stacked chips .
Its as simple as this no ones fully sussed stacked chips and the libraries and tools are just apearing in ernest but not by nvidia or its foundry partners, others are further along and the first mass produced chip is to be a mobile arm Lp design but not by nvidia ,2016 maxwell udig I do but again imho is what it is.

Also Everyone Is focused on mobile and nvidia more than most they're very very busy I've no doubt.

So to clarify: first you say the GTX 580 isn't crippled at all (which it was), now your saying Titan is (which it in relation to previous cards it isn't).

You're my fave.

I've read that a few times and it still boggles my mind.
Ive read THAT a few times and it boggles my mind as to which part isn't clear, sumarised.
Nvidia too busy on denver.
Nvidias foundry parters can't make maxwell until 2015-2016.
Nvidia have plenty of inventory imho.
