EKWB Announces Partnership with Xylem Inc. (Laing Thermotech)

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is excited to be able to offer the world renown Laing Thermotech water pumps to it's customers. EK will soon offer factory pre-installed DDC- and D5 water pumps with high performing EK-DDC- & EK-D5 X-TOP volutes and is also already working on new and improved variants of D5 and DDC- water pumps. As a result these water cooling community best rated water pumps will just get better.

Currently available versions already in stock:
  • DDC 3.25 (18W)
  • DDC 3.2 PWM
  • D5 Vario
  • D5 Vario (motor only)

and the alternate power source to molex is?????????????????? onboard fan controllers are not powerful enough for a PUMP motor

Cases are starting to come with all SATA power these days, I don't see why we still need Molex either;)

I'm pretty sure ATX power conector is way better and slim than that molex.


Really ?? How do you plan to power that pump inside a PC case, intertal usb conector ? PWM fan conector ? there is not much of a choice inside the PC case, you can also use a external power source that will keep the interior a lot tidy

i think the commotion was about using sata or pci-e (looks like best choice) connectors coming from the psu instead of molex
