Slick New Enermax Notebook Cooling Pad Series Launched

Enermax releases a brand new series of cooling pads for notebook users, that offer unique cooling solutions along with features such as a movable LED fan and enhanced external speakers. The AEOLUS VEGAS (CP007) cooling pad, the AeroOdio (CP006) speaker cooling pad and the new AEOLUS PURE (CP003P) cooling pads provide innovative and fun features to keep your notebook running cool and sounding great.

The AEOLUS VEGAS cooling pad is a sleek aluminum and metal meshed cooler/laptop stand with an innovative cable management feature. It comes with an Enermax 18cm 4-color Vegas LED fan with position-adjustable magnetic fan mounting and 4 lighting modes; Sparkle, All-on, Flash, and Off. The position-adjustable magnetic fan allows for precise placement which makes it easy to eliminate hot spots efficiently. The stylish rubber edges provide a non-slip grip and present the dual functionality of a looping cable management system. It also comes with connectors for USB extension.
The AeroOdio speaker cooling pad is a notebook cooler that solves two problems: cooling and weak sound from integrated speakers. This speaker cooling pad provides a sleek and well-designed cooler/stand with a 22cm fan, as well as a dock set with phenomenal external speakers to give weak sounding laptop speakers a much needed boost. The speaker performance of the AeroOdio CP006 comes from the integrated DreamBass sound chip equipped with two speakers, providing premium full-surround sound with deep bass and crystal-clear highs.

Enermax also introduces the AEOLUS PURE cooling pad. It boasts a massive brushed aluminum surface and a special ergonomic design. This design is geared up with a full-sized wrist rest that places minimal pressure on your wrists during extensive typing sessions. For cooling your notebook, you have a massive, powerful 25cm fan with 2-step speed control for extraordinary cooling performance. Like all of the Enermax notebook coolers in this series, the new AEOLUS PURE comes with four rubber feet which prevent scratches on any surface. The AEOLUS PURE will be released in EU market.

Lastly, Enermax also has two new entry models, the TWISTERFLOW 15 (CP004) and the TWISTERFLOW 17 (CP005). The TWISTERFLOW 15 offers everything you would need in a basic notebook cooling: a large cooling surface fan, USB extension and cable management. The TWISTERFLOW 17 offers the same including a 2-step foot stand. Both are very stylish and yet very affordable.

I don't see the real need for a laptop "cooling pad". A docking station is OK if you need the benefits of a desktop PC and portability but a cooling pad seems like a stretch.
