PowerColor Announces New Double Blades Fans for Future Cooling Solutions

TUL Corporation, a leading manufacturer of AMD graphic cards, collaborated with our thermal partner and successfully develop the patent thermal solution, the "Double Blades". The "Double Blades" derived from its fan outlook, this exclusive design adds an extra fan blade attaches to the original one; the extra fan can absorb airflow into the centre, and increase up to 20% airflow compared to the traditional thermal design, even can prevent the dust depositing at the bearings and the bottom of fan, prolonging the life cycle of the thermal, also video card.

I find the theory to be a bit imaginative. I'm interested in the results.

I dont think this will work as the inner blade wont get anywhere near enough speed to generate a decent amount of airflow. It will be pointless and loud but I hope to be proven wrong!

i just feel like actually its single blade with different angle, just separate it and you got the same design
since the second fan has small blade i dont think it would give you much difference

Sounds "gimmicky" specially if considering a smaller bearing center fan could generate a wider airflow ratio, which of course would require the fan to spin at lower RPMs (not so great CFM) but could compensate for in low dBs.

Then again, I may need to see results off this one first. :D
