Kingston Technology yesterday announced it is first to offer a full production launch of 2GB 533MHz(CAS 4,5) and 667MHz(CAS 4, 5) ValueRAM SO-DIMMs concurrent with the release of new 800 MHz ValueRAM SO-DIMMs. Both modules are designed to operate at 1.8 volts. The new Kingston ValueRAM 2-GB SO-DIMMs are designed to deliver the premium experience for laptop users epecially when the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system launches in January 2007. Kingston Value SO-DIMMs will be priced at 590$ for the 2GB 533MHz version and $640 for the 667MHz modules.
