SteelSeries Announces Limited Anniversary Edition of Siberia Elite Headset

SteelSeries, the leading global manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories, will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of its Siberia Headset line in 2014; in honor of the celebration, SteelSeries is introducing the Anniversary Edition of the Siberia Elite Gaming Headset. Wow, a $60-90 headset on sale for $299 because it's a limited anniversary edition? No thanks. They look cool, but there is no way I'd pay 4-5x as much for it and I'm normally a "limited" edition sucker.

You're referring to the Siberia V2, the Siberia Elite is in a whole different league.
The regular version is priced at 200 Euros (I guess 250 Dollar in the US).

The black ones are $175 atm on amazon. I hear while they aren't worth the msrp of $200 they are very good sounding for a headset.

Ahh, I missed that. That's a different story then. Thanks for clearing that up...I was unaware they had a higher end product.

I think I'd probably still rather my Sennheiser PC350s for a gaming headset, but that at least explains the price thing...
