This is a beta version of the upcoming Catalyst 7.1 Radeon driver from ATI/AMD. We are sure a lot of people will be really pleased to see it. The revision build of this archive is 8.33 and should be an interesting driver for sure. I can not stress enough that this is a beta driver which is distributed by ASUS. You use it at your own risk.Download: ATI Catalyst 7.1 Beta for Window Vista (91.6MB)

How about that? Ati's 2nd version of Vista RTM drivers and it whoops XP in the ass.
I think all of you sippers of haterade that have been looking at RC and Beta benchmarks in Vista need to look again once some RTM benchies come out. Cause I hated Vista and the 3d performance was dreadful. But when the final release was out, different story. Vista outperforms XP in every game I have thrown at it. Of course, that is for us ATI users, not sure about Nvidia seeing how they don't seem to have any decent Vista drivers out, and if they do they are probably crap. But ATI has been doing some serious work.
I honestly believe that this beta driver release shows how the driver model and hardware access in Vista is superior to XP.
Think hard about that, then actually test Vista out before you start trolling.
