TechPowerUp News Team Openings for US, CA & other American Countries

TechPowerUp is looking to expand its News Team, and is seeking out PC enthusiasts located in the Americas (North America and Latin America), who share our talent and passion for crisp and engaging tech news. Aspirants should be able to allocate a few hours per day, preferably when it's daytime in the Americas, and have good command over English, and the technology TechPowerUp traditionally covers. This is a paid, part-time, remote position.

To apply, write to w1zzard@techpowerup.com with your resume, other info you consider important, and optionally, attach examples of your work. There are no work-experience requirements.

One of the best tech sites out there with an incredible team (Disclaimer: I'm a part of the incredible team, but I'm not including myself in that group.)

TPU gave me an opportunity, and I'm loving every minute of it. Now you too can have one. Kudos to all of you who plan to enter, and the best of luck!

Do we also get paid vacation and free oatmeal cookies at lunch?
I would gladly join the team, but unfortunately I'm on the wrong side of the planet... :banghead:

If we're drowning in hardware, sometimes we give them away to our staff. We may even ask you to join us at trade shows.

I'll second that!

Disclaimer: My fathers recent bout with cancer may be part of why there is an opening: TPU worked awesomely with me forever in business terms but I eventually had to resign to get personal time far exceeding normal medical leave.

I wish my replacement the best of luck!

Would I qualify, being that I'm a native English speaker and have insomnia so I'm often awake during US daylight hours? I know I'm not in the US, but I thought I'd give it a try.

I can vouch for Red_Machine in the English department anyway. I know him IRL he did a lot of editing for me back when I worked for legit Reviews. Not exactly in North America though ;)

Fairly sure that is the main criterion here anyway, so nothing to lose by applying.

He already failed. Not really a technical person.
