Burnout Paradise

Burnout Paradise is the title of the next installment in EA's destructive racing series, which will mark its PlayStation 3 debut. Burnout Paradise will come to the Xbox 360 and PS3 "this winter," which typically means a December or January release.

"We have been working towards Burnout Paradise for quite some time," said game's executive producer, Pete Hawley. He continued: "Next generation consoles have opened up a raft of new gameplay opportunities and the Criterion team has leapt at the chance to innovate."

Eh...was never really a fan of the burnout series. I mean, its a decent game and all, something akin to twisted metal (which is a humorous and fun game) but really, not my type of racing game.

Anyone else think all this game news ripped from Gamespot should not be on Techpowerup as its not even a hardware related news.
If I wanted to read game news, I would just go to gamespot.

Burnout has absolutely nothing to do with Twisted Metal, beyond the fact that there are vehicles that can crash in both.

Seems you haven't paid close attention to the title of this website, which is:

Thats because it's not a proper racing game, more a crashing game. To simulate "cool" crashes the physics are warped beyond belief making the game a great arcade for a few mates and you to whack around, but it's no driving sim.
