Wii Sales Reach 3 Million In Japan

As of july 15 over three million units of Nintendo's game console Wii have been sold in Japan surpassing Sony's PS3 sales by three times. Nintendo has so far seen strong demand for the Wii helped by its affordable price , motion-sensing controller, which enables users to direct on-screen action by swinging it like a racket or sword along with various accessories released by Nintendo. Wii sells for 25,000 yen ($205) in Japan which is almost half the price than the basic version of the PS3.

Its fun and inventive. Alot of folks complain now though that the uniqueness and fun of the Wii has passed. The Wiimote is now old and stale and the games just arent coming from it. Regardless of which I still want me a Wii.
