Cyberlink Applications Optimized For Intel Core 2 Quad Processors

CyberLink claims significant performance gains for playing, analyzing, and producing high-quality video content using the Intel Core 2 Quad processors. CyberLink said that PowerDVD Ultra improved performance by up to 66% when playing HD material such as Blu-Ray and HD-DVD while resulted in smoother playback, achieving frame rates up to 80.54 fps for high-definition H.264 video content. Automated video editing software PowerDirector improved editing and transcoding times by up to 68% according to Cyberlink.

Well its good news in a sense. Quicker encoding times is always a welcome.

If its good to go on c2d quads, couldnt it be good to core for any dual/quad core processor, no matter the maker?
