It's only 7.00 usd for the basic version.......


The fact is that people use the demos over and over and over. They never buy the soft, and their soft is some of the most used. I think they are being fair with the basic 7USD fee for it.

I agree! Who the hell do these guys think they are?!?! They spend a year developing software that everybody can download and use for free, and it doesn't even work with old operating systems. What a bunch of greedy assholes.

it does make sence its on vista, moving with the times, i mean if 3d mark come out and it was only testing sm2 everyone would go nuts!! ok vista is a rip off but its the next gen o/s or will be most used!

Well of course it doesnt run on Xp. Vista is the current and future OS of the day that is still growing in power and marketshare. Vista and XP are 2 totally different Operating systems so it would be rather hard to give a comparative score with 2 OS's that use resources differently

i read on their forum,the only reason its vista only,is because there is already enough benchmark progs for xp.this is system only and not graphics too.

its a full system test the better card, hd etc. the better score

Vantage Freezing...

Whenever I try to run Vantage my PC completely freezes when it is collecting system information causing me to perform a hard reset.

Anyone else experience this?:confused:


Edit:
Turned out to be one of my DVD-ROMs causing the issue... (Asus E616A3T)
As soon as I disabled this device Vantage now runs correctly.
