Transcend Introduces High-Capacity 16GB SDHC Card

Transcend, in order to meet growing consumer demand for greater capacity and speed, today rolled out its largest capacity SD product to date - a 16GB Class 6 SDHC card that offers enormous capacity at an attractive price. Transcend's 16GB SDHC card is based on the new generation of SD cards (SD 2.0) that support the FAT32 file system format. Fully Class 6 compliant, the card features fast data transfer speeds (guaranteed minimum write speed of 6MB/s) and satisfies the high-capacity demands of today's new SDHC devices such as high-end digital cameras or digital camcorders. The massive 16GB memory capacity is enough to store over 8,000 high-resolution 7-megapixel JPG photos. The 16GB SDHC card also includes special features such as a mechanical write protection switch and Transcend's lifetime warranty.

If prices get in line and more devices support them ( I dont think my phone or media reader does, not too sure though) then these will be wonderful. Even for the Wii
