When I put in Catalyst for my card (running vista) I had to go all the way down to 7.1 before it ran right.. Then right now I can't go above 7.8 or it gives me BSoD...(running Xp)

7.10 was giving me BSOD in Motocross Madness 2, went back to 7.9 and it's fine - hope 7.11 is a charm...

Hopefully these will give the 3800 series a performance increase. Although it mentions nothing of the sort on the release notes

Propably because these are older drivers than the hotfix ones.

Sigh -- don't see anything in there about an AGP fix.

Though it is pretty cool that right there on that release page they talk about the changes to Linux drivers, as well as mentioning support for Ubuntu. :D

Wonder why the hotfix was not incorporated into this release:confused:
I just installed the hotfix and looking at CCC, it shows that the Crysis HotFix is actually 7.11 drivers.

AMD hopefully will release 7.12 or 7.11.x drivers soon adding improvements to the HD 3800 series, and possibly incorporating the previous and/or additional crysis optimization.

Anyone with a HD 3800 card here that can do a Crysis GPU_Benchmark using the 7.10, hotfix, and 7.11 drivers? I'd like to see the differences.

I have a x1950pro 256MB Turbo from HIS running on Windows Vista Business 64-bit. When using 7.10 drivers in 1680 x 1050 medium settings w/ 0xAA I got 20FPS in both CPU and GPU tests. After installing this hotfix, I get 26FPS in CPU and 29FPS in GPU.

EastCoasthandle, could you be as so kind to post some benchmarks using your HD 2900XT for the three sets of drivers? Or at least a hotfix/7.10 or hotfix/7.11.

Please and thank you,

haven't seen much of a change yet on my X1950 with 7.11 - everything seems the same, best I can tell - no noticeable difference in any games I've tried . . . hell, even 3m06 scores the exact same . . . little odd, IMO.
