New 2K Studio Formed for BioShock 2

Bit-tech reports that a new 2K Games studio is being founded specifically for the development of BioShock 2. The new studio, 2K Marin, will consist of the remnants from the 2K Boston developer team of the first BioShock. Apparently, not many of the original staff wanted to work with Ken Levine ever again after the first BioShock. 2K Games understood the sentiment and allowed the staff to set up a new studio so they can work on BioShock 2 while leaving Ken in 2K Boston with Project X which has been confirmed as being a new X-Com game.

BioShock 2...awesome :).

I wonder how they're going to do that though. I mean, they started and finished the BioShock timeline very smoothly, I don't see very much space to put in a new plot.

Unless...maybe you get to play as a Big Daddy/Andrew Ryan/ just an ordinary citizen?

Seems kinda early for them to already announce another Bioshock... Hopefully it isn't rushed and it's as good as the first.

Maybe the staff will stick around after it's released this time and not immediately go on vacation and ignore all the bugs and glitches ;)

I just hope that they can keep your attention in bioshock 2, the first one, for all of it's glory, drug worse than doom 3 by the end. I am very interested in it though, and how they pull the story off.

Yeah 2K forums is full of angry people who bought the game only to find it crashing, no sound, stuttering sound, not activating and not even starting up.

Runs well for me, only two crashes, and sounds on rare occasions cut out other sounds.
Mainly water and steam get cut out by big daddys stomping about.

Patch is coming out this week anyway and I love the game with fre DLC.
I have a feeling it's going to be a big patch too.

Spoiler:-
Honestly I can't wait for another Bioshock but I don't see how they are going to do that with the multiple endings in Bioshock.

Since there is the one where you save the LS and shows you dying in the end and the other two which are both bad.
Are they just going to choose one of the endings and go from there?

Either way I can't wait just disappointed it wasn't open ended.

Actually the next Elder Scrolls Game is hinted at being an MMORPG game, that would be awesome in my book, just as long as there is a decent storyline still.

Why? He seems like kind of a different person but I couldn't see anything more than that watching videos where he was being intreviewed/narrating the gameplay movies. Anyone knows what is wrong with Ken Levine that makes the Bioshock's original developer staff runaway from him?

Not a clue though Ill bet they didnt like it when they had to finally push the game out the door. At least according to the interviews that seemed to be the case. Were not adding anything else to Bioshock we have worked hard on it and enough is enough. Those werent his exact words but Ken Levine said something like that in an interview in a game magazine of mine
