I think it was a very good year for PC games. It is cool I own 3 of the top games, COD4, Orange-Box, and I JUST started BioShock.:toast:

You wont be dissapointed with Bioshock would be a worthy winner even tho Orange Box will most likely win.

I enjoyed COD4 most out of all of them. It was the best SP storyline I have played thru in years. I haven't enjoyed a game that much since the original Ghost Recon.

Disappointed with the game!!
Generic monsters with no variety at all, but overall was ok, nothing like a good hl3 ep or a doom 3...

I installed the demo and was met with a very strange screen when the game actually started. Then I realised that it needed an SM3 card, which my X850 aint :o

Look forward to trying it soon when I build my Q9450 / 8800GT system :)

Bioshock was great, but far too consolish for me. The Story was cool, the worn-out Art-Deco look was fantastic. I expected more freedom, but all that stuff was dropped for those consoletards...
It was still fun to play, but too short and there is literally no replay value.

Honestly BioShock wasnt that good imo. It was good but not GOTY... I think CoD4 should have gotten that.

Completely agree. It got so much attention due to its release date. It was probably one of the better games out by August, but not once November rolled around.

Cool game, but not that great. You guys probably disagree, I don't think Bioshock is worthy of GOTY! It's system shock all over again.

Portal isn't the only game in the Orange Box. However, Team Fortress 2 has no single player. Although...Half-life episode 2 was one of the best, emotionally gripping games ever and I think the Orange Box as a whole should have got GOTY!

Bioshock really deserve the title. Good gameplay, great graphics and twisted storyline. definately the best single player game of 2007.
