OCZ Cryo-Z to be Available Next Week

The highly anticipated OCZ Cryo-Z phase change cooler is expecting its first shipment next week starting February 4th. OCZ plans to make an announcement on the XtremeSystems forum on when the units will become available for purchase. The company says that each Cryo-Z unit is handtested and will be sold directly to enthusiasts. Unfortunately all units are 110V and will be exclusive to the US and possibly also Canada in the future. For more information, please wait for the announcement that will be made on the XtremeSystems forum.

Ok, what the f*** is with the US exclusive Cryo-z?! Europe and Asia are huge markets! Anyway, this is an enthusiast product and enthusiast from all over the world will find a way to purchase it. :) A 220 -> 110V transformator is not that expensive.

tbh, from what i seen on its performance, its not THAT great....

granted, its better than an equally priced watercooling setup.. depending on the Wattage of the cpu, but it will still require modding your case.

I was hoping for alot more from this phase unit, but for the price you cant expect a huge amount

In the UK they would have to fill them there. You guys have some law that prevents these from just being shipped in.

I've actually heard that it performs on par or worse than my modded vapochill classic lol. so all i have to do to beats its performance is change my coolant for r404a and then I'll have a 240$ phase unit that outperforms a 300$ one.

If I could get a Vapochill for under $300 USD with coolant that outperforms this, Im all over it. Im also hoping this will come in at $300 USD. Ive been looking forward to this product for a couple years now. Of course, I know Ill have to ask ya'll how to properly insulate my cpu and GPU/Chipset perhaps.
