A-DATA Debuts New DDR3 Memory Kits

A-DATA is on display at CeBIT with some very innovative memory modules. In this scenario the focus is primary on cooling, not the highest clocks. These DDR3 memories will come in three flavours: basic version with regular heatsinks only, a heatsink with two fans attached and even a version that can be cooled by LN2.

Wow, looks like more enthusiast products on the way. I love all three variations with the cooling. That cup holder style is cool as well.

Lets hope DDR3 prices drop like its predicted and latency improves although some kits are available with good latency's but the price is way OTT atm for those kits.

Cheers

Love the colour of the heat spreaders, they're awesome, and as for that Sapphire board, replace white with Black and you'd have my dream board colour scheme.

First news of the day is Foxconn, who isn't exactly 'popular' in the MB industry, comes up and introduces some fancy enthusiast boards. Then this? A-Data revealing some really impressive modules cooled by LN2?
What is this? A day for the underdogs? I love the innovativeness :toast:

I was hoping they'd release a black & red mobo....

Yeah. All the friggin nice looking mobos stopped coming out once AMD moved to AM2. I swear the prettiest motherboard I've owned to date was a Soltek skt939 AGP with a Via Pro chipset with black PCB and purple slots. None of this Gigabyte "I'm gonna make a rainbow motherboard" shi*t. At least DFI's boards still look good...for a price.

Exactly!

Why they have to have so many colours on them and not be able to stick to a simple yet good looking theme beats me.

If Sapphire release an Intel chipset version of that 770 motherboard then I'll be buying that even if performance takes a little bit of a dive.

Ditto for an AMD board.

I knew I should have grabbed that cheaper 790FX DFI board right when Newegg got it. It was $130 shipped, and in less than 2 weeks it's shot up to like $180 shipped. GAHHHH. I HATE UGLY MOTHERBOARDS!!!
