Looks like a Nforce4 and a Gigabyte board?

I'd never be fooled for a second. The least they could have done was actually take their logo. I mean come on, if you're gonna do something like this, at least do it right.

Sucks for those who bought one of these, but...I don't know how much sympathy I could give to them if they didn't even look the product up on the manufacturer's web site...

ASUS users must feel really insulted by this. I mean, why no cheap Indonesian knockoffs of ASUS motherboards? Or at least Cambodian or something.

I guess nobody wants to produce cheap knockoffs of... well cheap knockoffs.

Zing!

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind owning one of these. I mean, it's so kitschy.

Too bad it wasn't Asus saying there were fake ASRock boards being made. :D

"Yeah, um, someone is selling cheap motherboards under the ASRock brand... We know who it is and we are... Looking into it."

Their midrange/budget boards all have bad reviews but their higher end boards are great.

of all the boards ive seenm DFI does not use Blue PCBs, also they have 4 ram slots vs 2. The Blue board looks like an AsRock, the other i cant identify.

im interested as HELL link me now.
My Foxconn can hit 380 or so without the ram limitations I have.

Personally I dont like them that much anymore. You show me a 775 (or I guess another socket but then I cant use it) that hits 500fsb...

the one in my mini system - i'ev had 450 on my Q6600, and there have been lots of reports of 45nm chips doing 500+ after the Vdroop mod (pencil mod)

edit: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1233021

That is a huge long thread about the board, i will try and find the specific post i am talking about.

Yours is not matx though

Edit: Asus does not list it as a matx but [H] does so I will take there word for it. That baby is priority #1 right now I think.

the most i can get is around 430FSB stable, but thats just my CPU's - both my Q6600 dont like going above that FSB (i can do 9x430, but not 8x435 for example) - this is on my matx and atx system.

And the Vdroop mod is explained in the link in my sig, page 2 i think - it takes 30 seconds with the system running.

Im running at 285x7 right now, I can get it up to 320 with my ram. That was the best you could do a year ago when I put her together. I think its time for a new mobo in my baby. I have a E6300, it will not even be able to get above like 400 I would not think but its faster than where im at now.
