Dell Pulls the 30-inch 3008WFP off the Market Due to Technical Issues

It appears that Dell has ceased sales of all Dell 3008WFP 30-inch LCD monitors, due to a small technical issue. The 30-inch beast is now removed from Dell's official web site, until a new version is available.
The Dell 3008 monitor has been well received since launch and has been very popular with customers. In February we experienced a small technical issue with the product that has been long resolved. Currently the monitors are on extended lead times and in order to manage demand, the 3008 is not available on dell.com. We are managing orders on a prioritized basis and hope to have the product available to all customers in the near future.

How empathetic of you, Trip :D

Mine seems to work fine, and I haven't seen any enveloping fireballs lately.
I have one of the original ones, though, maybe the problem is with the new higher contrast one.

I've been following this monitor very religiously and I'm sure it's got something to do with the massive input lag and light bleeds among other things...

If Dell can fix the issues with this monitor it'll be the best 30 inch monitor *crosses fingers*

Happy with my 20.1" Dell 2007"WFP..
it's more than decent enough for what I want, 1680x1050 does me nicely :)
might get a second to compliment it :D

Honestly, 30" is too big. Just get a budget 24" and never lack again.

Was the small technical issue that they simply weren't selling? What a weird announcement.

Buy a dull, why (that's just more cash for them to keep screwing people over by selling shit comps)?

Those are just sonys last time I checked. I think I'd rather buy a nice 1080P TV that's larger.
