Sony Confirms Official Grand Theft Auto IV PS3 Bundle

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today confirmed the release of an official Grand Theft Auto IV bundle exclusively for PLAYSTATION3 (PS3).The bundle, available on April 29, 2008, will consist of a PLAYSTATION3 40GB model, a SIXAXIS wireless controller and a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV, the latest title in the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto franchise, all for just €439 (RRP). "We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package," said David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) is the eleventh, upcoming installment of the best-selling Grand Theft Auto video game franchise.

Good call by them. This game's going to be really popular for a lot of people, and might be just the thing to push some people to take the PS3 plunge.

i think in the US it will be priced less. more than likely $500 which isnt bad for a $400 system, 50$ controller and $60 game.

I would jsut wait for the MGS4 bundle if your into that game, you get a dualshock controller and stuff, its will also be $500 because that is what the MGS4 bundle is priced at

The $400 PS3 already comes with a controller. You might as well buy the console and the game separately to save $40.

Nah, North America is not getting that GTA4 bundle (only for Europe and Australia). We are getting the MGS4 bundle though.

Leaked gameplay doesn't surprise me as the 360 version has been released in certain places for a while now ;)

All the 360 vids are from a pirated copy. Seems like guys from France and Austrialia got a legitimate PS3 copy.

yeah, I'm pretty sure they stopped making the 80GB. I know Wal Mart and Meijer doesn't sell them anymore.
