ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe First Review Posted
The guys over at NordicHardware have posted a quick review of the ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe motherboard which you might consider interesting. Based on the still unreleased Intel P45 chipset, ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe is the top version of ASUS' future line-up that will include motherboards like P5Q-E, P5QC, P5Q PRO and P5Q. Today we have one of the first functional P45 motherboards in the world. We took it into the lab and ran some tests to see how it stands up to the predecessors, and what makes it worthy of the Deluxe suffix. Beside the raw benchmarks, we've also done some quick overclocking tests and take a peek at ASUS' new Memory OC Charge technology.

Performance on par with the X48, but we all know it will be significantly cheaper than the X48, and with CFX in the region of 2 8x PCI-E 2.0 slots, this could be the chipset of choice for all but those who only want High-End.
the bandwidth of the PCI-E slots is comparable to that of 2 PCI-E 1.0a 16x slots, and I think we all know we are no where close to saturating that (3870X2 uses PCI-E 1.0a not 2.0).
However, if you have no need for CFX, I honestly don't know if there'll be that much of a performance boost when it's finally released to justify the cost to anyone already owning a P35 board, nothing of course you need DDR3 too.
