Facebook Gives Users Commission to Become Salespeople; Spam Friends.

While a fair amount of Facebook users called it quits when they became sick of getting 10 emails every day begging said user to become a vampire or whatnot, it seems that Facebook users face a new issue. A new Facebook application, "affiliate window", allows users to earn a 1-5% commission whenever they sell various goods to their friends using the application. Any money made by Facebook entrepreneurs is placed directly in the Paypal account of the entrepreneur earning the commission. While the application author believes that he has created a side income for teenagers while getting sales for larger companies around the world, he may have just given users another reason to abandon their Facebook accounts.

i quit facebook, after it started sending me info about people i didnt know, and mine to them.

If you have a 'mutual friend' (two of your friends are friends with that person) it tells them everything you're doing. Pity one of those mutual friends is someone who really, really shouldnt have known a thing about me...

I have a face book account - i also have a myspace account.

my friends kept bugging me to go facebook but i never wanted to anyway but i did it to see what it was all about & within the 1st week of setting up my account i didnt go back to it anymore.

reason why? - to artsy fartsy. joining face book is all about song n dance - if face book could prachute in bikini clad women to your location each time you as a new member signed up to facebook they would if ther budget permitted it.

where nobody can really slag off functionality (& possibly innovation) facebook has a lot of it & they havent the faintest where to draw the line where the user just wants something that works or to give him all these sh!tty functions, perks or games to piss around with while hes on his lunch break...

no that doesnt work... with the amount of crap i was being flooded useless sh1t like so & so has tagged/invited you to so n so event or whatever which i rarely can be arsed to read any of it at all dont bother even clicking on it..

Myspace however is a more simple straight forward no BS approach,

you get your profile page, blog, inbox & friends list - simple as

people might stress that I maybe against sites such as myspace or facebook but i am not.

I keep in touch with a lot of friends, music/band events & what not on myspace & its not because im more use to myspace that I 'slate' facebook but never will some tard on my friends list send me some myspace featured bull crap about becoming a vampire or a dipshit or w/e.

(rant over)

on the other hand for the users who have nothing else to but log into facebook & wade through a ton of features & answer tons of crap about becoming a vampire - generally wasting time etc etc

good luck to you.

Sounds like too many people are not getting enough attention in the real world.
