Wonder if they'll be able to take that Q9550 up to 4Ghz, like the 8400 does/

The E8600 looks to be an awesome overclocker as it's the new E0 stepping. Shame it doesn't cost £140, closer to £185 which is total BS. It's cheaper to pay some1 in US to ship it over here!

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 (45nm) 3.0GHz 12MB L2 cache - $316
That price can't be right... I would expect it to be a little higher than the Q9550. I thought the Q9650 was supposed to be in the $550 range.

yeah man, that's what I was noticing. I wouldn't mind spending 316 on that at ALL. lol.

Fixed it. $316 is the new price for Q9550. Pretty neat price.

Explains the recent price drops. With the E8500 at $185 I think that E8600 will be kindof a hard sale, especially as those would be the two I would be looking at right now.

So who's going to OC these to 6ghz : D

Anyone know the difference between the new Q9650 and the QX9650? There dosen't seem to be any difference between them except for the $500 bankroll.
