Good for them! I've heard nothing but good stuff about their PSUs, When/If I decided to go crossfire, I will prob look into getting that HX1000W.
I <3 my TX750
Corsair is sadly enough the only PSU that died on me, but i know there will always be a few faulty units of any brand, personally i have several zalman psus and not a single one gave me issues and are still very silent.
Gotta love the stability and silence of a Corsair. My only grudge is the price, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
by: oli_ramsay;1051223Actually, their prices have become more reasonable, especially with the release of the TX series. Good for Corsair.

I always recommend Corsair PSUs to my friends (even people I dont like :P) specifically the TX series. I know one person that received a DOA TX750w. I assured him it was a fluke and he should replace it with the same unit and everything was perfect with the second one.
If it was a woman, I'd happily make love to my HX520. A 500W PSU that outputs peak 600W? and can handle my specs with a quad overclocked?
You just cant beat them IMO. If i go for the 4850X2 ill look into that HX1000 too - overkill i know but future proofing hurts no one ;)

<3 my HX620, best PSU I've ever had, and it wasn't really all that expensive either. There's a deal on Newegg for 120$ after rebate right now.
Ahh, this is reassuring after my 750TX! I knew they were good, but the best wow!
Gotta love my HX620. Still can't believe it powered 2 8800GTX's with ease!
<-----*Makes cheap, sweaty sex with his HX520*
by: DonInKansas;1051365you and me both ;)

Corsair definitely deserves this title. Their PSUs kick ass.
They own PC Power & Cooling now don't they?
by: Steevo;1051416No, OCZ owns PCP&C.

I learned what quality is when I purchased my Corsair 750W. I had a Nspire 750 that couldn't even handle my 6000+ AM2 and 2x 3870's. Now my Corsair is working with a 9850 B.E @ 2.8Ghz and 2x 3870X2's. It's got some balls!
good for them, but their HX series is overpriced
Very nice, I didnt realize how many of us actually own Corsair PSUs. Seasonic sure does make some nice Power Supplies.
nice,
but as many other big names they don't build the PSU themselves. The HX and VX series are build by Seasonic and are basically the S12 and M12 with minor differences. Seasonic is awesome, so nothing bad about that :D
Some of the HX and VX (500W+) as well as the TX series are manufactured by Channel Well (CWT).

I love my M12.
CWT manufactures VX550, TX750 and HX1000.
What can i say, gratz for corsair, for making such great products. I'm going only corsair for my new rig.
Corsair manufactures PSU? I thought their PSUs were CWTs and Seasonics
by: Bjorn_Of_Iceland;1052100Technically it's the manufacturer, the company you're buying the product from, though its component and unit sources are SeaSonic and CWT. Sort of like every reference design Radeon HD 4870 X2 is made by PCPartner, or that every reference design Radeon card that Diamond Multimedia and GeCube sells is made by InfoTek Corp. You're buying from them, not ITC or PCP.

Technically manufacturer is someone who uses tools and labor to transform raw materials into finished goods on a large scale. I think that a PSU made from CWT or Seasonics shall be considered as "raw material" and final product is Corsair branded PSU. Corsair is real good at branding this year according to Custom PC Magazine.
I personally think raidmaxxx is the best, but I cant be for sure being that ive never owned anything corsair has developed.
crossair made very good psu's but still expensive
I actually find their pricing not too bad, compared to other quality psus.
My HX620 is looking to be a good investment.:rockout:

I love my Corsair 750TX. I liked my Antec before it but I think this one is even a little quieter. I like the color scheme (even though you don't see it) and the cord management that came with it (pretty standard I know but still nice).
BUT I think what put them over the top was those cool felt bags they came in!
ROFL
While true I think Corsair has some say in how the PCB is laid out and what goes on it. I believe that is how it works. This is what makes theirs different from Seasonics own branded PSUs.
EDIT
Oh, I'm sure Corsairs customer support may have had something to do with this : ) I've only had to use it once but it was easy and helpful!
