Still at earliest a month and a half till it releases, I wouldn't worry. Plus you could pick up a 216sp version later anyways :)

God damn it. We need a GTX 295 cooler! And preferably one that is only dual-slot because we also have Quad-SLi..

Yes, I realize that the chances they'll make an air-type cooler for it are around the same of me finding a full-fledged DIY water-cooling system under my bed.

I'm thinking about a 260. What heat issues did you have? With OC, or on stock? Were you 55nm or 65nm?

Considering he sold it on eBay after getting wind of this "issue" instead of opting for an after-market cooler, I'd say he saw that it was getting over 70C and thought it was about to catch on fire. No offense, but it took me a while to understand that for my G92, 75C was "normal."

when a cards hitting 80 degrees celcius playing CS:S and the fan is practically sucking small children in, you know its time to go to a card that has decent aftermarket cooling solutions. Plus, I really dont need such a powerful card.

Please consider your reply in future before you post, at time of putting it on ebay there were no aftermarket options available, and still wont be for a month or so.

Find a water block for GTX295, it is the best solution.
This new AC Accelero XTREME is a monster.

Thats a nice cooler,is it heavy?

I have to say though, that the full cover waterblock on my 4850 is doing a grand job.

what temps do you get on that loop? Especially with it being CPU + VGA using a 12 and 24cm rad? I might H20 my 9800GTX+ Im getting, ill get a single 12cm rad too if it needs it.

That would be just super, except that I hear a water block alone has little cooling ability..

I hope that this will weigh less then the Thermalright HR-03 cooler they have out now... I'm glad they are finally coming out with coolers..

As for the GTX295, They'll probably just come out with the waterblock. You'll probably be able to build your own like the 9800gx2

I have the old version on my 8800 Ultra.

It is the best air cooler for a video card EVER.

Took stock 90c down to 55c and it is quiet too.

Hmmm might be a good time to get a GTX280.

Kyle,my temps on the card are about,31-35c idle, and 40-45c load. The temp vary as shown depending if my heating is on or not.My loop is pump-gpu-120.1-cpu-120.2-pump.

They've added new pictures and also a picture of the included heatsinks

I like the memsinks and the NVIO+2xmem sink, but that VRM sink seems underpowered. And if possible I'll be keeping my backplate, looks better than AC one. If not possible I'll be painting it black :)
Nice! Even comes with a backplate! :D
Does that mean if it designed to use a backplate I could keep my EVGA one on there?

I want it now!

Should be about one month to go.
