A-DATA Launches 2.5-inch 512 GB XPG Solid-State Drives for PC Enthusiasts

A-DATA has launched the 512 GB XPG 2.5-inch solid-state drive, designed for notebook and PC enthusiasts with deep pockets. With enough space for normal daily use, the 512 GB flash drive reads data at up to 230MB/s and writes one at speeds exceeding 160 MB/s. Encased in an aluminium casing, the drive boasts SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and mini-USB 2.0 port for external usage. The drive weighs 85g and still has to be priced, but don't expect it to come cheap.

As the title say I wouldn't argue with anyone in-term of "pricing" It's not going to hit mass market anytime soon. 2010 might be a year when we can afford these kind of thing in our PC.
