Intel Releases New Firmware for its X18-M and X25-M Solid-State Drives

Intel has released a new firmware for its high-performance X18-M and X25-M solid-state drives. The new update brings the firmware up to version 1.1 and aims to further improve the performance of the solid-state drives. Last but not least this update fixes the severe performance degradation of these drives after extended periods of use. This is related to the fragmentation/peformance issue discovered by a PCPerspective reviewer right?
