ATI has finally updated its web page to include the official WHQL version of ATI Catalyst 9.5, four days after we first informed you that the driver is ready and provided you with download links. The driver packs uploaded on the AMD servers should be exactly the same as the once we have uploaded on our page last week. Below the text separator are the final release notes and everything you need to know about the 9.5 release. This time I'll link you to AMD GAME! for downloads, but remember our links from the previous post here are still operational and can do the work.

DOWNLOAD: ATI Catalyst 9.5 WHQL for Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit/64-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit

The URL shows 9.5 for the release notes for me, but still displays the 9.4 notes. And if they have actually gotten AVIVO working for Vista X64 I won't have to firebomb their offices and poison their pets.

They seem all right now.

Is this the same 9.5 that was leaked out a few days ago? I installed the leaked version that was out on the 15th. Works great.

I downloaded ATI's officially posted version and compared it to the leaked one - they're identical.

It installs but does NOT work! There is NO listing for the AVIVO converter in the Wizzard list . I knew it was to good to be true in vista:shadedshu

Hmmm ... looks like I may as well skip this driver iteration. 9.4s work fine for me and from the release notes there does not seem any improvements to what I do. Edit : Nevermind, I forgot that the 2D/3D clock problem is fixed in 9.5 for the x2s. Time to get it.

Oh well I am finished with ATI graphic cards....over $800 of their crapola cards in my rig and they still DO not do what they are advertised to do.The Green team has been giving a regular spanking to ATI anyway so look out Nvidia looks like you have another customer who is switching from the red team...Shit the only way ATI can even touch Nvidia is by using dual GPU cards....I would rather spend the extra $30 for Green teams best.Sorry for the rant but I have been patient far too long.:shadedshu:shadedshu ATI :shadedshu:shadedshu :D:D Nvidia :D:D
