Its a fun game but it wore out on me fast. I'm hooked to "perks" now and when I started playing TF2 it had none. Maybe Ill go back and try again. I just wish Valve would do this much stuff for L4D. To me its a more entertaining game.

Team Fortress 2 is great. not a fan of the achievements but that is what competitive gaming is for. however sometimes it's fun to kick back in a Public Server (under another name of course..)

Same here. Played CS and TF way way way ago, but Tribes 2 was more than enough of a pull to keep me away, and I never went back to them, or the newer TF2. Closest I am is running CoD4....oh, and I have actually played thru Halflife 2

I have been playing Team Fortress for a very long time I just think this game has fallen victim to current times. to be honest it has turned into a RPG shooter.

Obama is taxing TF2 now? Or is Valve getting part of the bail out?

your not falling for all the song n dance then?? Ive heard a hand full of comments that its 'not all that'

I played it like once even with a friend, but I didn't feel like getting used to it. Cartoony games kinda bug me, so it very well may be that that's getting in the way.

I don't even play with my weapon model or hud on screen. the graphics don't bother me, like loud fans or mechanical keyboards after a couple days it won't phase you.

But I'm gonna stop posting in here. This is about a free weekend, not my gaming preferences.

OMG, you just reminded me of tribes 1. That game needs to be remade verbatim minus graphics and physics. Best game ever along with Deus Ex.

I'm a quality whore, but I like this game, so it must be good :)

Well i must say that this game for me is the best multiplayer experience since battlefield 2. At first glance i thought its a little childish with its cartoonish graphic and goofy characters. But when i started playing it later this year i found its a lot of fun if you look past the graphic if your more into realistic looking games.

I will go as far as to say its a one of a kind game that is a mixture of action, strategy, and just plain fun. The game itself has character that is evolving with every free update and because of that i think people will still be playing it when games from its era will be long forgotten.

And i must give Valve a big thumbs up for supporting its products long after release :respect:
