Swiss cooling solution provider ARCTIC COOLING has developed a new OEM project Accelero L6 with the leading NVIDIA card manufacturer, Manli Technology Group.

Exclusively for Manli, the Accelero L6 is a multi-compatible VGA cooler designed by ARCTIC COOLING. The 92mm PWM fan produces high airflow at lower fan speed. Together with an optimised heatsink and pre-applied thermal compound MX-2, heat can be easily dissipated out from the core, resulting in a low GPU temperature.

The Accelero L6 runs quietly even at full load. Installed in a patented fan holder with low noise impeller, the noise level can be reduced to only 0.4 Sone – a level that the stock cooler cannot compete.

“With our expertise in thermal and noise control management, the unique Accelero L6 can fulfill every need for any Manli mainstream VGA boards. And the success of this new cooler will bring our partnership into a new horizon”, says Magnus Huber, managing director of ARCTIC COOLING.

The Accelero L6 is used on the following Manli boards:
  • 9800GT 512MB / 1GB DDR3 with HDMI
  • 9600GT 512MB / 1GB DDR3 LP
  • 9600GT 512MB / 1GB DDR2 with HDMI
These graphic cards will be available in June.

Nor did I:laugh: But let us hope that this brings down the internal temps of HTPCs:)

I never understood why do people need high end GPUs in their HTPCs. Are you playing Crysis on it?

One of the more popular NVIDIA/ATI partners in PRC, HK, etc. It even sells an X58 motherboard. It doesn't operate in EU or US, hence, you're new to it. http://www.manli.com/

These cards aren't considered "high-end" anymore.

That exact cooler is already on 4670's and the like. I don't see what is so exclusive about it. It does work pretty well though.

I'd like to see a "IT&C Professional" that would buy the DDR2 9600 :nutkick:

Not a good design. The fans that are mounted INSIDE a cooling fin system are the most effective... because spilt wind (the air that is pushed outwards) is also used to cool. Here the baffles only catch half the spilt wind and also cause resistance, decreasing performance and increasing noise. Arctic could have done much better, IMO.

This cooler kept my HD 4670 at 29c/idle 41c/load. It's obviously a very cheap design, but it does work very well.

Not been happy with any of their coolers since the extreme ones for the 88002900. I'd buy another for my 4890 if they would make one that looks and performs like the extreme's. Although they were not perfect the reg heatsink for the 2900 is crap. As for this cooler as some one else said looks kinda odd. Was not thrilled about thte ram not being covered fully but probably don't need it.

I have two of these that came off my Asus 4830's, Arctic Cooling and Asus had a little legal battle on these but decided to play nice:). http://www.tweaktown.com/news/11903/asus_and_arctic_cooling_reach_an_agreement/index.html

Their GTX295 looks much nicer, looks so solid and durable and heavy, since its all housed, I have an unopen 9800GT from Manli sitting near me here, ive been meaning to give a whirl. I gotta say, when I met the vendor I was like 'sorry never heard of manli' rofl.

Yes even though this cooler does better than zalman's old radial fin design coolers. You do realise high resistance is a good aspect if there is a relatively high pressure fan. This 92mm is not the standard affair 9/7 fin fan.
