German Memorysolution today introduces its first 2.5-inch solid-state drives, branded MAXFLASH. Weighting just over 80 grams, the MAXFLASH Rapstore SSDs come in 128 and 256 GB flavours and have a 3 year warranty. Full specs of both drives are listed below:

- Compatible with SATA Interface (SATA I/II)
- Low power consumption (410 mA)

Is that really what they call themselves?
maxflash has some dirty connotations, but it looks like a nice drive. indilinx + samsung makes it one of the top drives these days. 3 year warranty is nice. I wonder what the price and availability will be like.

Germans arent known for eloquent language. They are very matter of fact. "Memorysolution" is a perfect example of their cultural thinking.

Well, there were already SSD at that speed or better since a while now. Nothing really impressive for me. If it can help to the cause of price drop, it good news. :D
