Hot on the heels of launching the world's first overclocking version of the NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT GPU graphics cards, ASUS, producer of top quality graphic solutions has today once again released a world's first with the overclocking version of the latest NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS GPU; with the EN8800GTS TOP/HTDP/512M and EN8800GTS/HTDP/512M graphics cards. Featuring overclocking of the stream processors, the EN8800GTS TOP will allow users to enjoy a 7% boost in their gaming experiences. Moreover, just like the 8800GTX/Ultra, both graphics cards are designed with 128 stream processors for feature-rich DirectX 10 gaming and the best multimedia playback; while consuming less power with the new power efficient 65nm processors. Furthermore, the integrated SmartDoctor feature will provide users with the option to overclock the Shader Clock for even better graphical performances.

Amazing 7% Performance Upgrade
With the EN8800GTS TOP, gamers will gain performance boosts for the core clock from 650MHz up to 740MHz, memory clock from 1940MHz up to 2070MHz, and shader clock from 1625MHz up to 1800MHz. Such never-before-seen performance upgrades helps raise the EN8800GTS TOP's 3DMark06 score from 10977 to 11782 - an amazing 7% improvement in speed to any other reference designed board. Gamers will be left with an adrenaline rush when they experience unprecedented gaming performance only with the ASUS EN8800GTS TOP/HTDP/512M.

Overclock the Shader Clock with New SmartDoctor
ASUS garners a world's first by providing an overclocking utility that is able to tweak the Shader Clock on GPUs with the new SmartDoctor. With this application, users will be able to overclock the Shader Clock and Engine Clock independently for astonishing performance boosts without the hassles of rebooting or re-flashing their BIOS.

PCI Express 2.0 and 512MB Onboard Memory for Best Graphical Output
With both PCI Express and PCI Express 2.0 support, the ASUS EN8800GTS Series will enable users to enjoy double the data rate of the popular serial bus for faster and better experiences. With 512MB worth of memory onboard, performance will be greatly enhanced, and users can now fully enjoy games or movies without lag or stuttering.

Exclusive ASUS GamerOSD for Versatile Graphics Usage
The ASUS EN8800GTS Series also comes with the ASUS GamerOSD, which unleashes the true power of ASUS' VGA cards. This feature is able to deliver GPU overclocking from onscreen displays during gameplay - allowing users real-time performance upgrades when they require it. Additionally, it also provides users with the option to record live gaming action or live broadcasting over the Internet with ease.

One question...how much? $_$

Smart Doctor sounds pretty impressive. Any chance it can be used on other brand cards?

If you are using 2 512mb cards it should work.

Why would you need 2 cards for SmartDoctor to work when you're just overclocking the shader clock?
