The Intel Atom D2700 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in November 2011. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Cedarview architecture with BGA 437. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Atom D2700 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 2.133 GHz. Intel is building the Atom D2700 on a 32 nm production process using 176 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom D2700, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 10 W, the Atom D2700 consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the GMA integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
